Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data we process when you use muzeumbusko.pl, why we process it and what rights you have. We follow Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).
1. Data controller
The data controller is the Museum of Military Technology and Air Defence (Muzeum Techniki Wojskowej i Obrony Przeciwlotniczej), ul. Stefana Żeromskiego 24, 28-100 Busko-Zdrój, Poland. For any matters relating to personal data, please contact us by phone on +48 606 538 252 or +48 602 105 778, or by post at the address above.
2. Contact form
When you send a message through the form, you provide your name, email address, optionally your phone number, and the content of your message. We use this data only to reply to your enquiry, for example about visiting or booking a group visit.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, when arranging a visit, steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Providing your data is voluntary, but we cannot reply without an email address.
- We keep the data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and then for no longer than 12 months, unless longer storage is needed to protect against claims.
3. Phone calls
If you call the museum, we use your phone number and the information you give us only to deal with the matter you are calling about.
4. Recipients of data
Data may be shared only with providers who keep the website and email running (hosting and email services), under data processing agreements. We do not sell data or share it for marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and statistics
The website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work properly. For anonymous visitor statistics we use Burst Statistics, which runs on our own server and does not share data with third parties.
You can change your cookie settings or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
6. Third-party services
- Google Maps. The map only loads after you click “Show map”. Google Ireland Ltd. may then receive technical data, such as your IP address, and set its own cookies in line with its privacy policy.
- Google reviews. We display visitor reviews from Google Maps (Trustindex plugin).
- Facebook. We only use plain links to the museum’s profile. Data is sent to Meta Platforms only if you click a link.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul.
